5 Reasons To Have An Online Business And Not A Job
Now don"t get me wrong, I totally get it when someone says they love their job and that they get a buzz from working for someone else for 80 hours a week ( well sort of get it) its just that if most people would be honest with themselves they would leave their job as quick as is possible human and here is 5 reasons why I think they should do that..1) Life is Too Short
As far as I know we only get one shot at this thing called life so why on earth would anyone want to spend 50 hours a week ,50 weeks a year doing something they hate, just wishing their life away Monday to Friday, dreaming of the weekend. Its madness in the truest sense. Once you see over the fence and get a feel for what its like being a risk taker,adventurer , entrepreneur then the thought of doing that job again has you running to the nearest bridge.
2) You Choose Your Income
Lets face it what you earn in a job is pretty much down to someone else. You can work every hour god sends and be the best employee there is but if the boss or whoever, decides not to pay you for that what you going to do about it. Even if you are on an overtime rate what"s that going to be, double time at best and usually for the hours no one else wants to work.
With an online biz and with you being the boss you don"t just work but you can work smart, meaning you do the work which is going to pay you the most in as short as time as possible. You decide what this is and you decide when to do it. And because your the boss you get to keep 100% of the profits.
3) Work Where You Choose
This is my favourite. Online businesses allow you to work anywhere you can receive an internet connection. You are not stuck in the same spot day in day out 5 days a week for who knows how many years. Just think about this for a moment. It goes back to our first reason " Life is too short". While your slaving away in cubicle or on a production line you could be making a living from your favourite place for holidays or be at home with the kids. As I write this I am in France having just spent 4 weeks in the UK and the previous 5 months in Portugal and all because I make my living online. This reason is such a no brainer for me.
4) Make Your Own Path
When you become an entrepreneur never again will you be at the mercy of others. You will be the master of your own ship rather than down in the galleys rowing like mad just to keep your head above the financial water line but at the same time lining the pockets of the guy who did become an entrepreneur. You will decide what"s best for you each day and best for your family rather than a company or job deciding for you.
5) Be At Peace With Yourself
When you make that jump from employee to entrepreneur you make more than a physical jump, you make a mental one too. No more will you have that nagging thought in the back ground about their being more than this to life. Constantly knowing that you can do better. No more will this happen because you are doing more, you are being better. So many people get to the ends of their lives full of regrets about what could have been, about what might have happened. Don"t let this be you. Don"t be like most people who just tip toe safely to their grave trying to make ends meet and trying not to be noticed. No my friends this life of ours is a gift and I for one will be going through it kicking and screaming making sure everybody knows I am here, are you coming with me?
To Sum It All Up
I make no apologise if I have offended a few because I know I will have sparked the flame of a lot more, who now having seen just 5 reasons to have an online business and not a job, will be eager to see what they can do about it. They will be ready to make that leap and to leave the masses to a life of passion and one of adventure. No its not always a bed of roses but as a mentor of mine once said,
